Shoreline Downtown Sandusky Trip

Shoreline downtown trip... which the town was kinda quiet..

mabbe becuz it was a weekday afternoon when we went...

the town clock which tells time and date..

it is a garden basically..

and well, the date has to be changed daily.. which means new grass patch has to be planted!

yummy... we cooked our dinner tonight cuz all of us simply missed having chinese food...we talk about our sambal stingray, oyster omelette, carrot cake, laksa....

but we could only make do with....

we spent a total of 2 hours cooking... but it was so yummilicious...

And so we moved..

Moving Dorms.... in the cold cold weather.. well, it's supposed to be summer time...

hah! and all our hard work paid off!

we had sea view, lake view.. and big room.. fridge, heater, hot water... oooh...

and a jacuzzi juz outside our window... downstairs i mean.

satisfied.

all done.. and its shopping time!

but den again.. it seems that we brought our mess over...

17th May, Thursday

We had to take a train (RTA) to this greyhound bus interchange, where the bus took us to Sandusky. And we were finally picked up by the CedarPoint people. *phew*

Forgot to mention.. It was bloody cold.... We (okie, just me and xy) were in spaghetti straps and on the train when everyone who boarded the train was in coats and thick jackets..
we got a full feel of the weather once we stepped out of the building..

i know it dun look like, but with the wind from lake erie blowing...
we were bloody cold laa...

and FINALLY after 36 hours of travelling and on the move...

we finally settled into our dorm..which was... erhm..

pathetically small..

but well, we made ourselves comfortable there..
xy said we were living like refugees! given our mess and all.. haha.. well...

and more mess...

Anyway, i forgot to mention that.... jf's luggage lock got broken by the TSA pple!

The entire lock actually came off in their "random" search..

gosh! wad did she bring that might have looked suspicious and caus them to inspect her luggage?

and guess wad.. it must be this! :p

- At the airport. -



















with my family. oh i gotta try superimpose my kiddy brother here.. he couldnt make it becuz he had to go to school! but no worries kiddo.. i will still buy lots of pressies for you!





















and my darling. i'm gonna miss him... but i will be back okie? dun miss me too much also.. keke..











- On the long long journey to US -

We took a flight from Singapore to Taipei, where we took another one to Los Angeles, and den another one to Cleveland, Ohio. But that wasnt the end of the journey yet.. we got conned by Speedwing and their "very easy" directions to get picked up.

Anyway, we were bored on the plane and so..





































We stopped at taipei for a plate of hot steaming dumplings..
after a hard day's travelling. simply delicious.

And us at the Los Angeles Airport (LAX)..

the big day..

gosh, the big day is finally here.. it seems so long ago that we talked of going to the States..
but well... the time has come..
